Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested the man suspected of tying a 70 year-old woman to her toilet yesterday when she interrupted him burglarizing her residence at the 14800 block of Ok Mill Rd near Snohomish. An anonymous tip led to the location of the suspect, a 35 year-old Everett man, at a Lake Stevens business at around 2 AM this morning.
The suspect had fled the residence in the victim’s vehicle, a silver 2011 Ford Escape, which has not yet been located. The suspect admitted to stealing a television, jewelry, and coins, as well as the car.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of 1st degree burglary and robbery, as well as unlawful imprisonment.
