The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team is currently tracking a burglary suspect in the area of York Rd (between 35th Ave SE and SR 524/Maltby Rd).
At around 9:40 AM the suspect was interrupted burglarizing a residence at the 4400 block of 230th Pl SE near Bothell by the homeowner. The burglar fled in a black Audi, colliding with a motorcycle rider at the 4300 block of 229th Pl SE. The motorcyclists did not report any injuries or require aid.
The suspect then abandoned the vehicle at the 18400 block of 59th Ave SE, fleeing on foot along a power line maintenance road.
The suspect is believed to be a 37 year-old Everett man.
UPDATE: Deputies suspended the search after the suspect fled the area on a bicycle. Lockdowns have been lifted from all area schools.
The suspect has been identified using images taken during the attempted burglary and is believed to be a 37 year-old Everett man.
