The
Snohomish County Patrol Division is the largest Division within the
Sheriff’s Office. It is the backbone of the Sheriff’s Office.
The Division is made up of several Precincts, Substations and
Units. The Patrol Division is
commanded by the Bureau Chief of Field Operations. Each Precinct and
Substation has supervisors, deputies, investigators, and civilians
available to service their area based upon calls for service, caseload
needs, and contractual agreements. Support staff from other bureaus and
units frequently supplement these precincts as needed to address
community needs. The local substations provide police service
directly to the Community.
South Precinct -

Snohomish
County
bordering the City of
Everett
to the north, the
Snohomish
River
to the east,

commercial and industrial areas. It has some of the busiest roadways
in the County.

throughout
south
county.

in the east county region. The east county region borders North
Precinct boundaries
to the north,

residential area and includes small cities, farm and National Forest
land.
Stanwood Police Department
is the Sheriff’s Office
largest contract city and it is under the direction of the North
Precinct. The Stanwood Police Department Substation service contract is
a "stand alone" model, which means the agency is recognized by the
State
as a separate police agency for record keeping and statistical purposes.
Gold Bar Police Department
is the Sheriff’s Office
second largest contract city.
The Gold Bar Police Department Substation is also under the
direction of the North Precinct.
Darrington Police Department
is also a Sheriff’s Office
contract city, but has a regional contract which means that 5 deputies
patrol both the Town of
Darrington
and the Darrington region. The Darrington Substation
is also under the direction of the North Precinct.
